Just About There

Thanks to everyone who has donated. With your help we are just about at our goal of $6,000. We can always use whatever you feel God is leading you to donate. Our goal is not quite yet reached and anything more we do raise can help Pastor Wesley with day to day maintenance and care of his new vehicle.

Thank You all so much for helping make Pastor Wesley's work for God a little bit easier!

God's 1/2 Price Sale!!

Your prayers are working!! God is so amazing and faithful! He hears the prayers and has helped bring this vehicle a little closer to reality. Pastor Wesley called he found a vehicle that was originally priced at about $12,000, for only $6,000. How awesome is God!!

We're 10 days into trying to raise this money, and we are now more than 1/2 way to our new goal. God's brought the price down, Some have prayed over this mission and have donated...Will You consider praying over the amount you would donate?

~Thank you Lord for your provision and faithfulness. You teach us to bring it all to you Father, and we just bring this prayer of need to you. If it is Your will God, may Pastor Wesley be blessed with a vehicle to continue his part in the Body of Christ. All things are possible with you Father and we give you all the Praise and all the Glory.~

Pastor Wesley's and the Childrens Need

Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Mathew 19:14)

Pastor Richard Wesley runs the Greater Love Children's Home, near Monrovia Liberia and he needs our help. Currently 44 children live at the Children's Home, with more coming in weekly. These children are left at the home because their parents can no longer care for them due to the extreme conditions of poverty in Monrovia. In order to process the adoption of these children, Pastor Wesley needs to go to the families (most living many miles away from the Children's Home) and verify their stories. He also needs to bring these families to his office to do official paperwork to make the children available for adoption, as well as bring the children to doctor’s visits.

Here is where we come in.

Pastor Wesley does not have a vehicle to do all of these things. While adoptions are happening, a vehicle would speed up the process. Today the Pastor rents a vehicle, which costs $150 a day. A vehicle for the Pastor would cost about $12,000. To date we have $3,650 donated, which leaves us needing to raise $9,000.

"So in Christ we who are many form one body..... if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously" (Romans 12:5,8)

We are all one body and have many functions. Not everyone is called to adopt a child from Liberia, but would your prayerfully consider what part you might have in this need? Is your part of this body to be contributing to the needs of others?

Would you be willing to give up eating out for two Sundays this month? Take your family home and eat PBJ sandwiches after church instead of going to a restaurant and donate what you would have spent on those two meals for your family? If would only take a few families making just this simple sacrifice to provide this car for Pastor Wesley which will in turn bring children home to their families God has ordained for them, and provide Pastor Wesley with a way to care for those in his flock that He has been called by God to shepherd.

All donations are tax deductible and can be made out to Addy's Hope. If you need more information, or would like to make a pledge, please contact us at: wheelsforwesley@yahoo.com.

We will keep you posted on the status of the car, so please check back often!
